PROJECTS
I like to keep busy - occasionally too busy - with a variety of projects and pursuits. Below are some details about and pictures form a few of my favorites.
HAUNTED HOUSES/HAUNTED TRAILS
Every fall since 1992, I've written and directed annual Halloween events
for the City of Marshall, Michigan's Recreation Department. Our events
tell complete stories that put the audience in the middle of the action.
It's kind of like a play that you walk through... in the dark... with
monsters. Every year is an all-new script with new twists, different
approaches, and new surprises.
"Haunted Trail has grown to become the largest special event for the Recreation Department, and therefore is a major contributor in balancing our overall budget." - Marshall Recreation Department Superintendent Teri Trudeau

favorite pictures from different haunted events.
ALICE & YOU IN WONDERLAND
In May of 2008, I wrote and directed an interactive adaptation of Lewis
Carroll's Alice novels for the City of Marshall, Michigan's Recreation Department. Along with Alice, audience members journeyed down the rabbit
hole, participated in the Dodo's caucus race, sat down for tea at the Mad
Tea Party, played croquet against the Queen of Hearts and more. The
thumbnails below link to several of my favorite pictures from the event.
SECRET OF THE ENCHANTED FOREST
In the spring of 2009, I wrote and directed this original outdoor
fairytale adventure for the City of Marshall, Michigan's Recreation Department. Using the same location and similar set-up as our annual
haunted trail, we designed an evening adventure designed to delight rather
than frighten. Unlike our Halloween shows, music and dance performances
were part of the show, along with an opportunity for young audience
members to meet and have their picture taken with a fairy princesses at
the end of the story.
A MONKEY AND A TYPEWRITER PRODUCTIONS
My friend, Ryan N. Wilcox, and I create video entertainment under the above name. Several of these videos can be seen on our YouTube Channel
MORE TO COME!
